I was in the defense industry from 1980 to 1995, doing everything from designing tools, planning projects, overseeing the factory division of the F22 prototypes and, most notably, writing code that allowed "incompatible" data systems to share data.

I took a year off to finish school and never went back to the defense industry, but instead, I have enjoyed contracting as a software engineer for companies all over Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Denver. I've have come to love SQL so much that most of the work my web applications do is accomplished in stored procedures, with C# / ASP.NET as a user interface.

Over the years I've developed quite a few applications using SQL Server, C#, VB.NET, "classic" ASP, VB, VBA, Access and Perl, as well.

In my "spare" time I am the President of my local sub-association HOA, the VP of the master HOA in the area, a District Delegate, as well as serve on several committees, AND I'm the webmaster for several websites.

My buddy Hammer and I decided to put this website together to share things that -you guessed it- worked for us, and maybe make a little money off advertising, too, to help pay for the costs of maintaining the site and the server it is running on. This site is for YOU! So enjoy it! Contribute, if you'd like, and tell your friends.
